There's a big tick in Mortal Kombat 1. At one point we wanted there to be many ticks, so he was made with the intent of being easy to spread around and do different things. I decided to go with a WPO animation rather than use a skeletal animation. I'll be honest, I mostly just wanted to see if I could do it.
Anyway, the Tick is actually a blueprint thats running some fun logic. He travels along a spline and his location on the spline is sent back to the material to run his WPO animation. This means if he slows down or speeds up along the spline his animation will automatically match that speed!
