This was a very simple animation to do but I always considered it one of the more "challenging" to watch. The character animators did a great job building up anticipation with the arm motion, so when the bone finally breaks you can really feel it.
In a world of exploding skulls and shattering rib cages, a simple animation can still prove very effective.
